205 E 95th NY Apartment
Living in a rented space in a big city can also mean a half-nomade life where moving is a constant presence and the accumulation of different furniture thought time can make each move more challenge than the previous one. This client wanted to keep most of her furniture as the couple were not sure how long they would stay in this apartment for but she also wanted it to feel like a coherent spacious apartment.
The main design proposals were the replacement of the dining and the coffee tables which were large rectangular pieces with light round tables that allowed a more fluid space and opened up floor area, making the room feel bigger. the introduction of a few other elements and decoration gave the apartment a more personal touch and the client was very satisfied with the possibility of visualising her whole room before the move was done, making the whole process easier and more pleasant.
